Does the car come equipped with AM Radio?

I haven’t had AM radio on my last three cars (all EVs). I’m not sure why the manufacturers are leaving off AM (poor reception?). Years ago I would listen to Bloomberg financial news on my way to the office. Now I’ve pretty much exclusively moved over to streaming music and pod casts.

AM radio in an EV just doesn't work well. In my e-tron SUV it was disabled, but very easy to code back in (Taycan probably too with PIWIS). This was the result:

- most of what you could hear on any frequency was weird motor-like noises
- station scan either showed nothing at all, or every single possible frequency
- only broadcast stations nearby (like a national park broadcast) were somewhat usable

I have been told that one reason that EVs do not have AM radios is that the electrical systems of the EV would effect the AM radio reception.

AM 670 the Score was taken off TuneIn and only on Radio.com and ESPN Chicago is on TuneIn.

If you have an iPhone you could try Simple Radio. AM 670 appears to be available on that app along with a ton of other radio stations.
