My drivers window seems to be stuck closed. When I open the door it does not drop and I can’t lower it using the window switch. All the other windows work fine. I did try doing a reset by holding the switch in the close position for 3 seconds but that does not seem to have made any difference.

Does anyone have any suggestions before I ring Porsche? It was working fine until today.

That had happened to me once before and I started randomly rolling the other and the stuck windows up/down then all of the sudden it worked again, and hasn’t been stuck again since.

This has happened to my car too. It's intermittent so I told the dealer to put it on the record so that if it happens again, it will be clear that it started under warranty.

di you know what you did to free it back up? I am a bit scared of driving it like this as i dont want to damage the glass/rubber/door and end up with a whistling sound because something has bent out of place.

I have just been out and played with the window switches and the window has started to work again. It was a bit slow at first and it had forgotton the memory for the one touch, but I went through the reset procedure and now its working.

Thank you both for your feedback.

On my 911, there was an intermittent squeaking noise, and when I brought it in they couldn't replicate it and was notated on the work order. I couldn't figure out the pattern to replicate the squeak either. Years later a TSB came out saying when the gas tank is full or close to it, the weight causes it to rub against the frame causing the squeak. I verified that was the case with mine. Even with the work order, they wouldn't cover it.
