Has anyone else noticed that when you go into Sync mode, it still displays both passenger and driver climate controls now?

before, when in Sync mode, it only showed one temperature control. When you went out of Sync mode, it showed both so you can change independently

now it always shows both, and changing driver changes the passenger as well.

I didn’t get any notice of an update or indication there was an OTA

this is the second time my PCM behavior changed with no real software update indication (the last [very welcome] change was fast CarPlay connect a few months ago).

Hi @Fletch , I"m in Austin too! That sync mode has always been flakey in whether it shows 1 set of controls or 2. You used to be able to force it to only show 1 set by changing the passenger temperature by 1 degree and then pressing sync again. Not sure if that still works and too lazy to go try it right now. It's highly unlikely that Porsche is pushing OTA updates to our cars and not notifying us but who knows for sure.

It’s a software bug. Do what the previous poster said. Change the passenger temp up by one degree, then press sync.

Same issue but slower learner… actually brought it to the dealer to troubleshoot. They had my car for 10 days before they called and said ‘it had healed itself’. I stumbled upon the fix the next time it happened ?

Yup, this did the trick. Weird. 14k miles and the first time I’ve encountered it. And no obvious way to get it back into that state

Talking of flaky features: I always have a podcast on, so I never listen to the radio. But I'm 99% certain I used to be able to have a some sort of "Media" display in the right dashboard "tube" where I could change radio channels. For the life of me, I can't seem to get that menu anymore...

Using the app-based pre-heat function seems to be what triggers this glitch.
That makes sense.... ?

Mines had the same issue recently.
Thinking about it, it's been during the colder weather when I've been using precondition.
