App issue "No Active climate control"

Whilst the app isn't great, the climate function has worked up until yesterday (putting aside the no LTE issue of a few months ago).
However, for the past day I can no longer turn on the cabin climate, even though the app is able to connect to the car.
Anyone had this issue before? And how did you fix it?
