Hi guys,
Does anyone know how to turn off the dynamic traffic rerouting?
On a recent 150 mile trip using the sat Nav I found it frustrating the Nav would redirect me off a dual carriageway or motorway just to avoid a 5 minute queue. I would rather sit in traffic for a few minutes than drive through a pokey town centre to avoid it!
According to the manual you go to Route Options, Dynamic Traffic Reroute. However this option is not present.
Any ideas?

Ignore it and take the route that makes sense. We do, however we sometimes wish we had followed the NAV directions.

Waze. FTFY. :p
Ok that can be quite ok as well. But for Route guidance Google Maps is more accurate where I normally drive. If you live in an area where there a many Waze users around then other type of information, like Police checks, road works, accidents etc is quite good as well.

Waze will have you cut through a public park or somebody’s garden if it saves you 30 seconds off your route.
