Nope. Not fixed for me yet. Already called Porsche NA multiple times. Ticket has been submitted to Porsche in Germany even. Haven’t heard back yet. They did say this is a known problem that some owners are having while some others are not, and that they were sorry that they don’t have a fix yet, but are working on it.

Tested the same EA station with another forum member here who also has a GTS that arrived on the same ship. His Taycan initiates Plug & Charge no problem, while mine does not. I still can’t even initiate a charge via myPorsche app as a backup, as that gets a “unable to reach server” error message every time. This was at the same EA station and we were literally parked next to each other testing this out. Frustrating.
Apparently EA is releasing some kind of backend software update to alleviate this issue sometime today (I read this in some other threads). I have the EXACT same issue and I have a road trip coming up in a few days....really would like to be able to charge my car; 1. without paying for it when it should be free, and 2. reliably without having to call EA support for 34 minutes to get them to initiate the charge.
Not the way I intended to spend my first day as a Taycan owner :(

Just tried two locations in Reston, VA this afternoon and got a "Transaction Denied" failure on multiple chargers at each location. Fortunately I was only testing after the big update. Porsche Care confirmed my account was in order and EA stated that they were experiencing similar problems with P&C with others using their network. No ETA for fix, but EA rep stated to call with VIN# and they would provide a "free" charge. Tried shutting off P&C and EA wanted a credit card. Couldn't figure out how to initiate a charge through the Porsche app. I miss the old charge app.

Lol. This is incredibly buried in the app, but thanks for the pointer I’ll try during my next failure. Today was a potential disaster as I couldn’t charge and the range indicator in my car was off. So I pulled into the garage at 1% charge.

Had my first successful EA charge today without requiring a phone call to them! Was delighted when I plugged in and it just started without any fuss ?? Caught the sunrise to boot:

That’s great news. Maybe their software update actually worked. Do you have P&C enabled?

I recently had my PCM reset due to a failure of the PCM requiring the 12V battery reset, which had turned off my P&C setting. So when I first plugged in, EA asked me to set up an account. After enabling disconnecting and re-enabling P&C though, it worked like a charm.

After 2 unsuccessful P&C attempts on Dec 19th, I had a successful P&C experience today at one of the same EA locations that I tried on the 19th. Connection time to start charging seemed a little shorter too. One data point is not a tread. I will try out a different EA location later this week and report back.

BTW, I connected to a 150 KwH charger and ranged from 36 - 50 KwH during the 10min test. Battery temp started at 45F and ended at 54F. Seemed lower than similar charging events last winter. No hard data to compare with, though.

Hey Jhenson, I'm the other STL Taycan owner. Just took deliver of my '23 4s on Tuesday of last week. Been a "garage queen" since then due to awful weather. Drove around 80 miles since delivery, mostly today. When I picked up the vehicle from Porsche STL, it showed a range of 171 miles. "No problem, that is because of the low temps." they said. Probably so, so I guess I'm OK with that. Have to say that I've driven that car about 50 miles and the computer says I've only lost 5 miles. Understand all of the issues with that. However, I remain confused about what range I should expect in this type of low temp winter weather. You have any real world experience/thoughts you'd like to share? Apart from that, I love the driving experience! Little as I've experienced!

Pretty much everyone sees their range go up over the first few weeks as the car “calibrates” itself to the actual consumption.

I see 285-300 miles in the summer and 220-230 miles in the winter.
4S on 20” all-seasons.

It’s my wife’s DD, but I probably put more than half the miles on it. She always drives in normal and I (almost) always drive in sport, usually launching stoplight to stoplight along 141. ?

I don't have a Taycan, I have an Audi e-tron GT so I have no first-hand experience with the problem... only what I'm reading on the forums.

That said, what's strange is that some are having issues, and some are not. I know someone who confirmed charging via app without an issue on December 27.
