Error message charging system not connected

Hi all,

After a software update on Saturday I’m getting an error message “charging system not connected “ on the center console… car still takes a charge but doesn’t show the charge level and is stuck at 75 % reading… anyone seen this !?

Did you try to reset pcm with the two finger reset ?

No ? Can you tell me how to do that ? Sorry I’ve only had the car 2 weeks and still getting used to it.. thanks for you help !

Push with two finger at the top right of the central screen for a couple of seconds. It will ask you then if you want to reset pcm. If you search the forum for reset pcm you should find some pictures / movies.

Thanks… went through that but none getting the same message as me and my car is still actually charging ok… just not displaying the charge etc !

No my car had to go into Porsche for nearly a week to fix it !

What was the fix? I have a similar issue where the centre console says “charging system not connected” and the charge ports aren’t working either, so I can’t charge the car. Strangely enough, this happened after the car passed its MOT at a Porsche Centre.
