Interesting read this, thanks all.
Interesting to see nobody mentioning Pirelli Cintauro P7, got them on the (used) car when I bought it.
I dont care for them, comfort and range might be a tad better - but handling is significantly decreased in my opinion.

Any other experiences? In the market for the best handling tires… 3mm- left on these. Probably going for pilot sports -20” :).

I’m running 20” all-season Procontacts on my 24 CT. They will need to be replaced in 3-5K miles. They’ve been OK, but nothing exceptional. Since I live in the south, snow is not a big issue, I don’t track it, but handing in the rain is important. I had DWS06s on my G37 and loved them. A little research reveals the DWS06+ meets load rating requirements and sizes. Fronts are a direct replacement, while the rears go up 1 size from 285 to 295. Below are prices from Tire Rack with other related info.

Just put on Continental DWS06 all-season tires on my Taycan for the winter. I’ve had them on several cars over the years and they perform quite well in the wet and snow. Road noise is slightly more than the Hankook Ion EV summer tires they replaced. (Nice!)

I have a slight preference for Michelin PSAS 4 all-season tires as they are a bit more performance oriented. However, they were not available from anywhere when it was time to buy. That said, I’m quite happy with the DWS06’s - they are not a compromise and they drive quite well so far.

I have a set of Cinturato P7 (20") on the GTS for the moment. Put them on the car by the end of summer, meaning they replaced a set of Hankook Ion 21".

I quite like the P7, but they are a bit noisy as temps go down. On my CT4 I also had a set of Michelin PS4 and I would rate them as a more performance oriented tyre. Tyre life was also very good for the PS4.

When P7 needs replacement, I will probably put on a set of Hankook Ion or perhaps some Pirelli PZero. Both are available in the 20" sizes for the Taycan.

Note that the PS4 is a "slim" 285/40 tyre ie. they have quite the stretch when mounted on the rim/wheel. The Cinturato P7 is wider and sits more comfortable on the rim. Clearly visible by the naked eye.

I just went back to PZero (NF1), after having gone through two sets of Asymmetric 5. There are a couple of on/off ramps on my daily commute I occasionally like to take in spirited fashion--grip and response are far superior with the PZero. We shall see how long the updated 280 over 220 tread wear will last this time around. But hey, gotta pay to play.
Update. Car is in for service. Tread at 5/32 ("Decreased wet performance") just after about 8200 miles. At least it's the start of driving season and will be able to get these down close to the belts lol.

I don't have a heavy foot, but I do take turns and on/off ramps rather aggressively.

This is why I moved away from the P0 because they wear down fast. I’m on my first set of Asy 5
