Finally produced. How much time now?

Finally my Taycan reached phase 3: vehicle is produced! Took a lot of time since I've ordered it in November...

Anyway, now usually how much time does it take for Porsche to ship it out? I'm based in Europe.

I'm not sure if they use land or sea transport to Portugal. To Germany and neighboring countries it's typically only 2-3 weeks.

'only" 3 weeks. Last time I did my hometown-Stuttgart by car it took me 19 hours ?

Since Brexit – when Irish cars used to be routed via the UK – they now go on this route via sea:

Emden (Germany) -> Dublin (Ireland) -> Santander (Spain) -> Setubal (Portugal).

The route is done most weeks – around 50 times a year.

Mine was supposed to come out of factory April 8th after some well know delays. Finally it was already at the importer in Brussels when I called 8/4. It arrived at the dealer 14/4 and will delivered 27/4. This takes some extra time because the wheel arches will be painted before delivery.

Painting is done next week. Parts were already ordered and have arrived. So pick up is 27/4. 30/4 is my birthday. Can’t wait 3 more days to make it a real birth day present.

News to me as shipping to Madrid is done via tractor-trailer from the factory... normally from one to four per week... it takes a week at most, unless traffic or weather disrupts the schedule.
