Fine scratches on window glass.

Lots of good answers on how to repair the problem, my question is what caused it? Is there something between the window pane and the rubber edging or deeper inside ? It almost looks like there is debris abrading the window. Would hate to see you refurbish the glass and then it happens over again. Just a thought.

Hi , yes mine are the same on driver and passenger windows. I have had them replace by the dealer who said Porsche wasn’t taking responsibility for it . I was told that the window seals have a hiddden gully . Iam thinking that may be the cause of all the scratches . And you can guess what’s next ,new windows have gone the same way ,so now they have taken pictures and speaking to Porsche again . So I would suggest that everyone who has window scratches report it to your dealer ,as I was told Iam the only one . It about time porsche stepped up !
