will test it asap :)
We eagerly await your feedback and experience on breaking this new 'frontier'!

I'm sure it will never come to Scotland (ever) and UK - probably London area in a couple of years...even then I'm unlikely to use it / be near it.

I am super surprised they've gone with Alpitronic chargers and not their own Porsche designed ones you see at Porsche Centres.

Great to see the IONITY level pricing of 33c being maintained.
I run an EV Charging company in the UK and I can attest first hand that the Alpitronic DC charger is the most ultra rapid in the market today. So this is a great choice

if I do manage to get over to Stuttgart this winter to do a boys tour / factory / museum visit...I'll stop in and imbibe some fancy sparking water from the Porsche fridge at the Lounge!

If this is just for Porsches, why on earth would you have 22kw chargers? For people who want to spend a long time there and get less charge?

Hmmmm, as with all things ‘shiny’’…. am sure the cost of the centre will be passed on via kw charge rate….of course working on the principle ’that nothing is free’.

it’s just like business lounges at airports, customers feel that are getting something for free but the reality is that the cost is covered in the business class ticket. Only other benefit is to perhaps get away from the crowd, but most I’ve used are either pokey affairs with minimal facilities/offerings or over crowded and turned into a workers canteen.

It’s a Porsche Experience Center - it’ll probably have replicas of a Typ 64 alongside 919 and samples of Olea leather with deviated stitching. It takes time.

€0.33 according to the blurb, which is par for the course for HPC in Europe and generally much cheaper (other than PCS) which we can get here in the UK.

There are lots of other providers here charging upwards of 69p a unit for HPC charging. This is cheap really.

Those are most likely regular AC chargers which are very cheap to install.

My wild guess is that they needed some inexpensive destination chargers for maintenance staff or whatever and decided that they might just as well make them available for customers too.

They are the same price as Ionity: 33 cents per kWh and nothing pure minute. Porsche dealer chargers are 45 cents per minute and 35 cents per kWh. Looks like a good deal.
