Hi All,

I've read several times in the forum that it seems like the FoD is not available anymore for the MY25. I have mine scheduled for arrival in October and haven't configured the InnoDrive although I was interested (but unsure whether it's good or not).

The thinking was: I'll try it out through the FoD trial period and if I like it, I'll buy it later on.

Would anyone know if FoD might be available at a later point or if at least an InnoDrive upgrade can be carried out by the dealer later on?

Thanks!

The dealer will for sure be able to do it in service; assuming the car has the required hardware already.

But doing it at home, will not happen, as whatever protocol porsche has developed for updates is not appropriate. If anything bad happens during the update, the PCM doesn't seem to be able to do a rollback (probably memory limitations?), and results in catastrophic failure of the PCM.

Yes, I have configured the required hardware (ACC etc.)
Thanks for the insight, that would be great.

here is a message that contradicts this. Tell me more about the dealer being able to do an update? Curious if this is a guess or from something concrete.

You think this or you know this?

I’ve heard it is discontinued on other vehicles. So Macan EV will not over it.

Again, assuming the hardware is there, they can for sure do it. In switzerland they enable InnoDrive on cars, before sell, even if the cars didn't come out of factory with it, as part of the "swiss package". That is valid on MY25 taycans also.

Now, is this the official FoD? I don't know, but I know for sure they do it on taycans here.

@Vicelow just ask your dealer; my experience on this is from Valais/Geneve part of switzerland
