I parked at a mall and a piece of rebar caught the spoiler and ripped it away from the mounts on the driver side of the car. Unlike my 911's this does not look obvious re: reattachment or replacement. In doing a search it looks like I have to remove the front bumper? Any feedback on shortcuts to re-attach or replace without that pain in the rear?

Thanks in advance for any tips/suggestions.

Unfortunately, you have to take the whole bumper off. The good news, it gives you a chance to clear out the bucket of rocks that have accrued around your radiator. Just a warning, Porsche’s shop manual requires the technicians to recalibrate the sensors in your bumper (I haven’t had a problem yet). Overall removal and replacement is about a 2-hr job. There are some instructions posted in the forum on how to do it.

I have seen that ash (guessing paper will work too), super glue and when mixed in place you put baking soda on top can can basically reforge stuff.
