Google Satellite View - Dashboard Navigation

My apologies if this has already been discussed earlier. I have not been able to figure out a way to keep the default setting in the dashboard to Google Satellite Navigation view. I am able to click on the steering scroll wheel and check the option for the satellite view but it doesn't seem to "stick" and I have to do it manually each time I start the car. It stays on the Google satellite view in the PCM screen but not on the dashboard. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can configure that? Thx in advance!

I have no answer to offer, there are many settings that do not stick, and I find it annoying to have to set things to my preferences every time after shutting the car down

Agree. Porsche has done a terrible job with software on the car. Love the car each day but I hope they are learning quickly from Tesla on Technology and hiring some smart IT guys to improve tech in their cars.

The only place it "sticks" is on the personalised view on the central PCM screen (My Screen) where you might have media, charge, nav displayed together.

I'll take a look today on the main screen but to be honest I much prefer the non Google Map on the main instrument binnacle (aesthetic reasons only)
