Did you notice which tyres the car was fitted with?

I have the same RS Spyder alloys and ticked the "Summer" tyre box, but not the "Performance" box. My car came with the Pirelli P Zero "Summer" tyres, which are fine, but a little noisy as they lack the acoustic foam of some other makes.

- If you've specified the Summer Performance tyres you'll likely get the Pirelli P Zero R tyres, which may have a stiffer sidewall (and perhaps a harsher primary ride).

Various passengers have commented on the stability of the PAR. Driving the same route in other cars I can attest to this myself. For example, my wife's Model 3 with its 19" wheels - which gives a "smoother" primary ride (i.e., less aware of minor imperfections) - has a much less settled ride. One notices being jostled around all the time, whereas the PAR glides serenely and authoritatively (and lets you feel the road without being bashed around by it).

I have a winter driving trip to Germany planned, so will purchase a set of the 20" Taycan Turbo Aero alloys with winter tyres. I expect these will give a softer primary ride (and possibly better range).

GTS rides great IMO. Normal mode is an excellent balance of handling and comfort, and you can crank it sportier from there.

When I was test driving different specs, I tried Active Ride on a Turbo with Pirelli PZeros. The car I purchased (my GTS) has active ride and came with PZero Rs. I didn't test them back to back but I didn't notice a big difference in ride quality, at least enough to give me pause.
