I thought I posted about this but couldn't find anything in my history. I had an issue where my charger's plug started to melt. No idea what caused it, but after having the plug replaced by Porsche and replacing the outlet with the one recommended in the forum and also lowering my charging to 35 amps, I have not had any issues. That being said, I saw these surge protectors meant for RV's (link below) and I'm wondering if this would be a good option to protect from a future surge or whatever may have caused the melting. Any thoughts?
