I might be being blind but I’ve searched the manual and the forums. I’m now wondering if heater mirrors was an option I forgot to tick, but also don’t remember suffering last winter with not being able to see anything in the mirrors when they’re damp or cold.

Do these cars have heated mirrors and if so, how do you activate them?

On my Macan, the heated mirrors are activated when switching on the rear screen demister, so I suspect your Taycan will be the same.

Omg, should have read the manual on this one, was annoyed when the mirrors were blocked by damp. :D

I searched the manual for ages and couldn't see mirror heating mentioned anywhere

That's odd - I can find it now online, but in the car the search for "exterior mirror heating" came up with "no results". Unless perhaps I didn't have LTE signal at the time and didn't check that. My first thought was "great, must have been another paid option that I missed" as is usually the case with the Taycan :)

Thanks for the screenshot - sets my mind at rest and perhaps I didn't leave it on long enough to make an impact yesterday.

While we're on the subject: anyone know if it's possible to extend the time the heater stays on? I know the manual says it depends on the outside temp but often I want to burn off water from the mirrors and the heater only stays on a short time (I'd definitely say it's less than 5 minutes). I'd be happy to get the dealer to re-program if that's the only possible way.

Not user configurable and the demister should remain active for a max of 10 mins (depending on conditions - if higher ambient then less time).
