My heater has failed and as many of your know the parts are on international back order. Any idea when more will be available? Dealer is working on getting them through both PCNA and back channels.

I would have thought given the failure rate these would be available without much delay especially in the middle of winter. Keep up posted as this is concerning that there is no stock of them.

Could you share specifics of your ride with model year, build date, and miles as I can only see that you have a GTS ST.

Also, did you already have it replaced before, and what date was that?

build date 9/23, this is the first failure
Heaters manufactured before Feb 15, 2023, were included in the widespread heater replacement campaign WPL8 announced in Oct, 2023. What your situation probably means is that Taycan heaters after that date are also failing. :(

Porsche Taycan Heater availability 1737079591890-q1

(unless your VIN was part of WPL8 and replacement not completed.)

I've been waiting since the 27th November to have mine replaced, its been off the road for much of the winter as its not driveable as the screen mists up from the inside quicker than you can wipe it when the outside temp is below freezing. I was offered late Feb as a fix date. Needless to say I've gone from a very happy owner to someone who now pretty much hates the car because of the customer service.

Is late Feb an official Porsche date? I was told that Porsche is waiting for parts from supplier and no ETA.
Dealer has offered a loaner, but so far I prefer to keep the car for safety reasons (I need the winter tires for my driveway and neighborhood); so far no defrost issues but car is garaged, it has been a mild winter (some ice, but temps not below about 28 degrees, fan set to on, recirc off)
Have you reported this no defog safety issue to NHTSA?Contacted PCNA CEO?

Sorry, just realized you are in UK, the relevant parties to scream to are different for you

I thought all the broken heaters and long waits for replacements was a relic of winters past, but obviously not.

Ultimately, the (lack of) dealer support was the main reason I eventually parted ways with my Taycan.
I honestly could not stand the thought of being treated like a mug one more time, when the battery thing first appeared.

I’m not totally sure if it’s that or just atrocious customer service and diabolical Porsche Assist.
