Great - which Taycan do you think I should target or is the best deal?
It's totally personal from here but for me, I'd go with either the '22 4S or '22 GTS. But if the 22 4S does not have the 93kw battery (which I'm thinking it doesn't) I'd go for the GTS.
You should be able to negotiate on each of these cars, maybe just take the one you can get the most movement on...

I love my Taycan.
But I would buy the 911 again if we didn’t have some much taxes on ICE.
And I would see less my dealer with less problems and recalls.

All of these cars have the 93kw performance plus. Does that make the 22 4S a no brainer?

Unfortunately, as I was preparing to go look at the 22 GTS, it sold on me.

Do you think all those dealer visits with the Taycan may be over now though?

For the 2025 version, there are still problems and it still a new car.
And for the previous version, we are not at the end yet.
And the platform won’t be continued so it’s hard to say if Porsche will continue to support it and bring updates.
Still I’m considering buying a 2025/2026 version as it’s a great car with a really fast charging curve.

Yeah, I'd go for the 4S, if it does have the PB+ battery. If you don't think it has enough power, you could always get the redshift tune...
This car does have some warts but those warts are more visible to some than others. I basically have the same car and I'm head over heels in love with it, warts and all.

Cost wise, it's basically between this 22 4S with 36K kms and the PDCC/PTV+/Battery and standard interior for a total cost across the 39mo lease that is ~$55K less than a 24 GTS with 190kms (basically new) with only PTV+ but with a leather interior.

On this type of car that I'm being advised to only lease and never buy, I think it's kind of a no-brainer on the 22 4S right?

I am an owner, not a leasor. You could make a case both ways, for and against, buying or leasing. I view leasing as an insurance policy against the worst case scenario of the car crapping out on you but if it doesn't I'd rather own ?.
The 4S would be my choice but idk your financial situation...
Good luck

I'm now considering just purchasing a new 25 4S that I found at a dealership that has rear axle steering and PTV+, but not the PDCC. It also is in my preferred colour and has the leather interior.
It's priced quite a bit higher, but it is a brand new 2025.

If I went this way I'd likely buy it vs. lease it with the intention that I'd be driving this for 6+ years (i.e. justifying it's severe depreciation).
I'm drawn to this scenario because the this is essentially everything I'd want - but it's too expensive for just leasing and returning.

Thoughts?

Ah - just realized it only has 8 way seats. Damn.
