Not sure how many Homey users are on here, but sharing in case it’s useful.

I’ve been working on a Porsche Connect app for Homey and just pushed a new test version:
https://homey.app/a/com.porsche.connect/test/

It gives you full visibility and control of your Porsche from Homey. Think battery, charging, climate, locks, tire pressure, trip data and more, all integrated into flows and automation.

Works with Taycan (all variants), Macan Electric, Cayenne E-Hybrid (E3+), Panamera E-Hybrid (G2 PA+) and 911 (992+), as long as Porsche Connect is active.

Personally using it to:
  • auto-start charging based on solar surplus
  • pre-condition the car in the morning, hoping to make this calendar based
  • get alerts on charging state, doors, tire pressure, etc.
  • with future SOC etc for longer term insights
Still improving things, so if anyone here is using Homey, feedback would be great.

Sure, let me share the latest update this weekend. And don’t be scared off by the code, this is one of those solutions that’s partly me and partly AI.

Porsche Connect for Homey — v4.2.8 Community Integration

I’ve been building and running a Homey Pro integration for the Taycan and wanted to share where we are. It’s available as a community/development app. Hoping to publish at 4.5

What it covers:

34 live capabilities including individual tire pressures, charging current/voltage/rate, GPS coordinates, sleep state, climate target temp and direct charge control — alongside the usual battery, range and odometer.

Full flow automation with 38 triggers, 23 conditions and 30 actions. Latest items being added

• Solar surplus charging (running with SolarEdge + Sigenergy home battery)
• ABRP live telemetry push
• Webhook to Node-RED / Home Assistant / Grafana
• Pre-conditioning, departure timers, geofences, lock/unlock flows etc etc

12V battery conscious: uses Porsche’s stored data endpoint when idle (no wake), only calls the live API when charging or moving. Night polling at 60 min. Daily wake counter visible in settings so you can track API impact. And all settings adjustable

Data persists across re-pairs — Insights history, 100 stored trips, charging sessions all keyed by VIN.

Tested on MY23 Taycan 4S Sport Turismo, should work on all Porsche Connect vehicles. Requires Homey Pro (≥ 12.4.5). Available on the Homey App Store or sideload.

Happy to answer questions or take requests. v4.3 planned: live map, predictive maintenance triggers, Tibber price-based charging.

Thanks for the amazing work. I love hobby projects like these 👍 Non-techs are not going to believe how many hours projects like these cost.

Cheers!
