How do I enable ACC display on the left tube? I've looked for this, but apparently am missing it. That would be my preferred left tube...
In the left tube it's called "Assistance systems". It only shows ACC when it's active.

Is this a euro only configuration option? I don't have that menu option, and when I depress the button on the end of the ACC stalk, all I get is this... But when ACC is active, no distance graphic is displayed in the left tube.

Is your car a J1.2? - will likely be different from mine.

What have you got the left tube configured as? Also, looks like you've got ACC showing in the centre (?) - change it to map or something and try the left tube again.

Yes, it's a J1.2. Center display view option doesn't affect left tube ability to show ACC status. When I set the ACC, the left tube briefly shows a graphic displaying following distance setting, but then reverts back to whatever non-assistance option I've previously selected.

OK, I don't have a J1.2 so I don't know. What have you got showing in the centre 'tube'?

  • Left = tyre pressures
  • Middle = Powermeter or SatNav (medium zoom) if on a long trip
  • Right = Media or SatNav (next turn) if on a longer trip

Central display is nearly always on media or SatNav (wide zoom) on longer trips.

HUD I only really use on longer trips....that has assistance systems, speed and SatNav (next turn).

OK, I just realised what you're doing... The button on the left stalk changes the assistant mode: ACC, limiter, whatever; it doesn't set what the left tube shows. You need to use the steering wheel buttons (right side) to move the yellow highlight to the left tube, then the thumb wheel to set what that tube shows - same as for the centre, right and HUD. Do you see "Assistance systems"?

No - it's not an option that I can find anywhere. Suspecting this is a difference in euro vs US config..
