I'm confused about how recall information is provided to vehicle owners and hoping someone here can help clarify. Here's my situation... I have a 2022 CT4. The Porsche website does not show any recalls active for my vehicle when I login and go to the "About My Vehicle" page. In the US, we have a website where we can look up recall information by VIN (https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls). This page also shows no open recalls for my vehicle. Now here's where the inconsistency arises. I took my car to my Porsche dealership to get its annual inspection done and the dealership says there are 2 open recalls (both are software related - WPN9 and WNW2). I am scheduled to have them performed in a couple of weeks.
So what gives? Why the inconsistency between the Porsche dealership, the Porsche website, and the NHTSA website?
