Actually, the Porsche branded extended warranty for the Taycan does NOT cover the big HV battery. It does cover air suspension, adaptive cruise, electronics etc - but not the main battery. Of course, the battery itself has factory warranty up to 8 years and iirc 100k miles, but it is interesting that it doesn’t fall under the Porsche extended warranty. This was from when I was considering extended warranty for my 911 and the taycan.Not happening. With how many battery recalls taycan has had, they probably already regret even offering warranty
I wonder if you keep paying for porsche approved warranty if it covers the battery too. Would be very stupid if it didn't, basically the same as a 911's engine not being covered.
