This might already be posted here but it randomly showed up on my feed:

Seeing all the cooling lines … I am amazed my car didn’t get totaled when I damaged the sub frame in a parking lot.

I am interested to see if they made improvements in the MY25

The Taycan cooling system has 300 distinct states which may explain all the plumbing.

Or those 4-port take offs are used in every other model in the VAG group which saves them 37p per car n dev costs :D

It looks a proper mess and I'd be shocked if there wasn't a better way.

(The vid' has been posted previously).

Given the comments about the methods being appropriate for low volume manufacturing I wonder if Porsche did not expect Taycan to sell in the numbers it has, and if that’s why they’re reducing production volumes from the 2025 gen 2 model - perhaps profit margins rely too much on options upsell.
Another thought was insurance repair costs and write off likelihood - something that may cause premium increases or refusals on older depreciated cars.
