Introduction: New Proud Taycan Owner

Hi I’m J.J. 52y father of 4, Living in the Netherlands. Last week I bought a ‘21 Taycan 4s, this car: https://www.astara.nl/nl/21-taycan-4s-sport-design-pakket-carbon
Been told car has been a Stuttgart Porsche employee car, it had got some nice options and I love the carbon package. Car has 16k kilometers / 9880 miles and front has got a bra.
Here to learn about it’s perks and quirks

First planned upgrade are the 21” RS Spider wheels black satin (as delivered on the GTS)
Further considering Innodrive. Porsche has always been a dream car, can’t wait to pick it up next week

Coming from a Mercedes e350e AMG Line, fully loaded, I’m very spoiled on gadgets

Check with your dealer: are you getting 22kw on board charger or 11 only.
I found two different descriptions on your link.

good point, is there a free VIN that decodes options properly? Most don’t recognize the vehicle, let alone it’s config

Dealer should have proper info about configuration.
Once, you’ll get Porsche ID, you will see config on a portal…. ask your dealer for a print.

Picked it up yesterday, first

detail session already needed

Congratulations- love that initial time when you first get a new car and it’s like a voyage of new discoveries as you get to learn the car and it’s functions.

So, 2 month in a lot has happened
- drove 2500km’s
- combox replaced (bt didn’t work)
- Upgraded rims to 21” RS Spyder
- rear spoiler base plate replaced ( spoiler was 2mm to high when closed, not flush)
- frunk lid aligned, it had more space on the left than right
- wheelhub cap replaced (damaged within 2 weeks launched screwdriver scratch, no idea who did this )
- left rear window replaced, sill had chip from stone
- right rear sill replaced, sill had chip from stone
- done full detail

now awaiting appointment with my restyler for the last small imperfections, 2 small chips and 2 chips that were touched up before, with correction paint, by previous owner, but now look like zits
after that she will be better than new. So far, pics before spoiler fix.

still really happy, haven’t seen a better deal yet.

Hello Raphie, with replacing the sill did you mean the black gloss window trim parts? If so, do you really need to replace the complete window when you only need a new trim part?
My one month old Taycan Sport Turismo has a stone chip on the drivers side, smallest, rear window and my OCD is kicking in to replace that gloss black window trim but if it's need to replace the whole window it's gonna be quite expensive?
