Is Porsche Connect worth it?

I think it's absurd that they would make us pay $319 yearly to perform basic functionalities on this car such as check current state of charge, climate control, lock/unlock. My wife's 5 year old Audi e-tron let's you do all of that for free and these companies are basically the same. I urge you all to contact Porsche connect customer service and complain. I called them and sent them an email about this.

My firm belief is since they are not making money from servicing these cars, this is their workaround to try to squeeze every penny they can out of us.
In the Netherlands the connect service are for free the first three years for all Audi's. After that
Audi charges €175/year for the connect services of my Audi A3 tfsi-e (2021 model hybrid/etron).

BTW, I am happy to pay for it even though Carplay has most of the features. I like to use OEM.

I just had to bite the bullet and renew mine... car is 3 years old. and I figured I use the service (for remote management mostly) often enough it would annoy me if I didn't have it.
