New filter had a "biofunctional" coating / layer, or maybe it was just sprayed yellow.
Either way, it "looks" to be better quality than the old one.

I could have bought it cheaper elsewhere, but Amazon was next day delivery so that was best for me.
Only took 10 mins to fit.
As you'd expect, the old one was a little dirty and had trapped several leaves.

Images below including part info in case it's useful.

I need to look if we can get Bosch branded filters here in the US, but I have been using the A-Premium brand, but a couple of relevant points. Also, this thread is for J1.2 but can anyone confirm that this is any different from J1.1, I would think not.

- Filter minder cannot be reset by the driver. I show receipt and filter package to dealer, and they reset it for me, but not too happy about it.

- You have to note correct direction of the air flow, but I believe that slant corner is for the purpose that you cannot get it wrong since it goes in only one way vs. square filters that Macan and Cayenne have.

I clicked I replaced the filter on the service app - I know it logs it. if they ask, I can always show receipt.
