J1.2 Taycan can't decide on recommended tyre pressure

Does anyone else get this error, where centre console shows current tyre pressure and recommended tyre pressures, and the recommended tyre pressure is different for different wheels?

See attached picture. I'd just changed from full load to partial load for my 21" Summer tyres. My pressures are all even, 41 PSI front and 47 PSI rear. However, the recommended tyre pressure is 38 for the left front and 40 for the right front, and 40 for left rear and 42 for right rear....clearly a glitch. This happens all the time. Very strange.

I noticed mine does exactly the same, small target pressure difference +/- 1 or 2 psi, I suspected it might be temperature related, depending how hot/cold the tyre is may impact the target pressure, for example one side of the car in strong sunlight the other side in shade.

The targets also seems to moves up as the tyres get hotter on long, fast motorway drives.

I would love to have an engineer from Porsche put out a video explaining their approach to recommended tire pressures. I suspect that this may remain one of the world’s greatest mysteries.

The last engineer who understood this at Porsche retired during the pandemic.

The TSB with tables for various combinations of sedan v wagon, summer vs winter vs all-season, and full vs partial load is something like a dozen pages long.
So choose your favorite tire pressure and it probably matches up with something in there.

Recommended tyre pressures are meant to be pressures when cold. Should not differ left to right otherwise we'd all be driving in circles! haha
