Our CT moved to delivery of 1/7/22, was 12/31/21.

The odd thing is that our dealer is 25 minutes from the Baltimore port, so why it will take from 12/31 to 1/7 to transport, I don't know. I assume there's going to be something missing and the car will be stuck in port.
Went into production yesterday 11/3, which was 2 days early.

Order date: Oct 11th
Freeze Point: 10/16/21
Start Production: 11/03/21
Production Completed: 11/12/21
On Vessel: 12/10/21
@ port in Baltimore 12/24
enroute to dealer 12/31
arrive at dealer 1/7

Interesting - that would explain why my car is already sitting in Emden, but it's not scheduled to get to Benicia until 12/24. Based on the shipping schedule, I will be on the "Glovis Supreme" as that's the next vessel to sail to the West Coast.

I just missed the ship that left Tuesday this week. Oh, well - no federal tax rebate for me, then...

If you know, when your car is scheduled to go into production and get to Emden, then the schedule can give you a good idea of which ship you'll be on and when your car will arrive at your destination port.

Curious if when the Production start day is reached was your status updated that day on TYD (won't surprise me at all if not!) - my production start day is today and despite it being early afternoon in Germany there is no update on TYD - the dates are all holding firm for now (still 2 months delayed), so hopefully something is actually happening :)!

I assume that all of the production dates are a bit irrelevant so long as we get on the boat by 12/17. Sounds like the port shuts down for two weeks, so we have plenty of cushion. (knock on wood).

Hoping we make up time by either (a) the vessel leaving early (which I am not sure it will) or (b) the vessel arriving early in the U.S. and the cars are quickly unloaded without any Stop Sale issues.

Doesn't sound like there is much chance we will get on a different vessel.

The estimated production start date of my 4S was 10/22. On 10/27 TYD updated to show actual production start date of 10/25. So in my case, actual production start date was 3 days later than estimated, and TYD was updated 2 days later. But actual production completed was very soon thereafter.

I believe we have slightly different dates i.e. for me, prod. start today Nov 5 with vehicle to arrive in Houston on 12/31/2021 for port processing and be at my dealer ca. 01/07/2022. Again fully aware these are estimates at best!

FYI:
Actual dates per TYD for 4s:
Start production: 10/25
Production completed: 10/29
Ready for transport: 10/29
In transit to Emden: 11/2
Arrival Emden: 11/5

11 days from start production to Emden arrival.
Currently waiting for "on vessel" to Baltimore, which is estimated 11/26. I am hoping for something earlier.

I am sitting in Emden now (well, my car is...). I just had a vessel assigned this morning. I will be on the "RCC CLassic" according to TYD. That vessel doesn't show up in the Volkswagen schedule. So I tracked it and can see that it's in Southhampton, UK right now - looks like it's loading and then probably heading back to Emden.

I'm sharing this in case anyone else is going to be in Emden here in the next 4-5 days and are going to San Diego and Benicia - you might be on the RCC Classic too if you're going to the West Coast of the US.

I'll post more if I can find the schedule for RCC Classic...

Here's my updated ETA after being delayed 4 times now. Original ETA was 11.19.21. Ordered it back in July 7th. So depressing.

So it appears that the US Infrastructure bill passed tonight and will be signed into law by the president this weekend. It apparently includes a new MSRP cap on EV sedans of USD $55k, meaning that no Porsches will be eligible for the $7500 federal tax credit -- presumably for any cars bought in 2022 and beyond (I'm trying to confirm this, but I think that all Porsche EVs bought in the calendar year 2021 will still be eligible for the $7500 federal tax credit). It would be logical for this provision to start in 2023, because so many people have cars ordered in 2021 that are coming in 2022 under the expectation of getting the $7500 tax credit. So we'll have to see what the actual wording says regarding start date for elimination of the tax credit for cars with MSRP > $55k. It would be nice if trade-in value, which reduces the cost of buying a car, could be used to get the EV into allowable tax-credit territory (i.e., < $55k), but I've not seen anything to indicate that this will be the case.

I'm in a similar position. Deposit paid on June 19th, got the allocation in July. Initial date was Dec 3rd, changed to 10th>17th>Jan7th and today it changed to Jan 14.

What I don't understand though, is my vehicle finished production today, one week early. It was showing arrive at the port on 1/7 and then get to dealer on the same day. Now it shows arriving at the port on 12/31 but taking 2 weeks to get to the dealer.

Also the "overview" section states that the vehicle is in stage 2, which is "vehicle scheduled for production". Track Your Dream says the vehicle has been produced which is stage 3.
