I searched for this but couldn't find something similar..

When I press the indentation on the door handle when I leave the car, the handles go back to the locked position and the mirrors fold.

However, when I use the fob to lock, the car beeps (like the lock sound) and the mirrors fold/handles go flush... But only for a second, then they pop right back out and the mirrors go back as if the car is unlocked.

The handles go back to being flushed after one minute but the mirrors stay popped out

The red light on the door blinks as if it's locked though and the app says the car is locked.

Is there an option that causes this on the fob? Or a way to make the handles go flush right at locking like it does when you touch the indentation?

Thanks!

Have you left a set of keys in the car?

The beep / chirp is normally when something isn't closed properly.

Using the fob to lock should always retract the handles and fold the mirrors (if mirrors are set to do so). More often than not i lock with the fob.

That usually happens when a door isn’t closed properly and it can’t lock all doors. That’s the only time I get the ‘chirp’.

I thought it may be a set of keys or something not properly closed as well.. But everything is shut correctly and the set of keys is at home, far from here (or anywhere we go). Plus, it does lock which is the most confusing part.

This sounds like the unlocking issue there is a TSB for. You lock the car and it immediately unlocks if you don’t move away quickly. I believe they change out something in the door handles. The handles come back up because the car unlocked; and when you don’t open a door it locks itself again. But the auto lock doesn’t move the mirrors on the Taycan for some bizarre reason (it does on my other cars).
