In fairness, most jokes become unfunny when you imagine your family stuck in a car that has burst into flames. ?
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because your family was burning alive in a car.

Hey, you’re right.

Will someone please post the answer soon? I've been updating this thread from the back seat of my Taycan for two days now, yet still no answer, and I'm running out of water....
Unfortunately your 12v battery is probably flat now and your stuck. Your Taycan back seat may be your final resting place.

If you've not made a Will, you can always post your wishes here* and we will let your next of kin know how you want your estate distributed.

*may not qualify as a strictly legally binding contract.

*Can I have your car please.

If you could roll down the windows you could pull the outside door. However at least in the US if you can roll down the windows (not child locked) you can unlock the door by pulling twice.
Close again!

If you can’t reach the front lock you should be able to reach the seat controls and move the seat forward until you can reach it.
Didn't think of the seat controls. It might have worked to reach the window buttons.

In older Porsche and Audi, you have to try twice in a row to open the door.
So I would assume the same, drag twice the open handle of the door
Tried that, didn't work.

Can you open the rear windows from inside when car is locked? Wouldn’t be a graceful exit.
Yes, you can open the windows. But the back windows don't fully open and even then wouldn't be able to get out of it through the window. But you're getting close to the solution...

Take off shoes and climb into front and try driver’s door? I haven’t even looked at how difficult that would be in the Taycan, I’ve done this in other cars (while working on interiors I hasten to add). Maybe in this car you have to be the same size as Frankie Dettori to do that though?
Briefly tried that, couldn't reach the buttons on the front door.

The answer is indeed opening the window, with the keyfob.
Apparently, when you press and hold the unlock button, all 4 windows open :)
Once they are fully open, I reached through the open window to open the door using the handle from the outside.

Ah hah. I’d assumed you didn’t have the key fob with you!

Good to know

The doors can also be unlocked with a key button. Then you can get out comfortably.

There was nothing in the first thread about the child lock.
This is also not locked from the beginning.

I assumed the child locks were on.
Otherwise, being locked in the back just means your car is broken as I’m not aware of any cars that don’t allow you to unlock/open from the inside.

You're right, I didn't mention that.
But not being able to open the back door implies an active child lock.
