Loyalty Rewards When Ordering?

Hi all,

Did a search and could not find anything so sorry if this has been discussed previously.

I am ordering a 2023 Taycan and have an allocation for a Spring Build.

This will be my third vehicle personally from this dealer and the fourth in my family in the last 5 years.
I’ve gotten 5-6% off MSRP on all other vehicles.

I understand the market is different, and he has agreed previously to offer me a build at MSRP. That said, what would you ask for in loyalty as this is your fourth vehicle?

Ideally I’d love if they could give me the black GTS rims on the base I’m ordering as aftermarket and swap my wheels out. Not sure that’s realistic.

Tint? Maintenance package included? A big fat nothing burger?

nothing burger. Most of the time. I think some people got extra fees and costs

It’s likely that anything they offer would be nominal in value. Generally, I think we all should keep long memories for those dealers that kept things at MSRP vs going for ADM.

Best to set your expectations low, make the ask, and let them potentially surprise you. If you get anything worth up to $500, I think it’s a win. Any more than that and they are showing you lots of love.

First service is probably “doable”, it’s mostly labor/manpower and that’s a relatively “fixed” cost for them. I think it’s ok to ask, dealership should show their appreciation/loyalty somehow…..there’s other dealerships who would love your future business …

Winter mats, ceramic coating , etc …

I think a set of wheels, which is thousands of dollars, is an unreasonable expectation. If they let you pick something out of the gift shop like a hat/jacket or something, that's a win.

When dealers get rid of markups and there is a standard fixed price, that is when I will pay what is asked without question.

Do you not negotiate when you purchase a house? How is this any different?

Fair. I was thinking they would keep my wheels in exchange, but I fully understand it’s highly unlikely.

MSRP is not invoice and when one dealer offers msrp and another 6% off, there’s huge variability. If you don’t try that’s just financially foolish. Maybe for you the $5-6k donation doesn’t matter, but I work hard for my money.



Again I ask, do you negotiate when buying a home?
