Finally got a 2023 Taycan RWD loaner while my 2021 RWD is in the shop. Car only has 150 miles on it so I'm probably the second person to drive it. A few notes based on options this loaner has and apparent differences between the 2021 model:

- Loaner has the glass roof, mine has the metal roof. After having a glass roof on my previous car, the Model S, I'm glad I got the metal roof this time. I definitely feel more heat on my head, and when the sun is right above, my sunglasses are even more needed than with a metal roof.
- Doors are noticeably heavier to swing closed. It also seems like the cabin is quieter? Mine also has the insulated glass option, so it should be the quietest option on the 2021 model. I haven't checked if the loaner has it. Both cars have Bose system with standard interior, so I don't think there's any reason the 2023 door would be heavier unless Porsche actually reengineered the door for better soundproofing. Does anyone know if this is in fact the case? Other than how heavy the door is, I like how quiet the cabin is. My 2021 has a pretty quiet cabin already, but this seems even better.
- Loaner has ventilated seats, mine does not. The ventilated seats are nice, but I feel like it only makes a difference when the fan is at max speed (3), and at that speed, the fan noise is fairly noticeable, which I don't like.
- Loaner has a nice quiet suspension. Both cars have steel suspension. I'm now realizing that mine is a bit creaky after 2 years of ownership. Gonna ask the shop to look at it.
- Loaner has semi-frequent trouble with handles not popping out on approach. It occasionally happens to mine too, but its more rare. I'm glad I've gotten lucky with this feature on mine so far, as it's pretty handy. Both cars are somewhat finicky with locking by touching the dimple.

Re:creaky suspension, had a brand new ‘23 RWD loaner with <20 miles and the suspension was very creaky. Ironically had the same exact loaner car again with 250 miles on it and it continued to be creaky. Coming from air suspension, wasn’t sure if that’s normal or not for steel springs.

Thanks for confirming about the glass roof as I was very concerned about the heat so opted for the metal roof. I could definitely feel the heat from my son’s Model 3 but wondered if it was a non issue on the Taycan and now I know. As for it being quieter than yours I bet it’s related to your tire noise. How many miles are on your set of tires now, and how many are on that car?

It's definitely not just tire noise, if at all. My assessment was while the car was stopped at road intersections where I'm pretty familiar with what the noise levels are. The door is also definitely heavier. Whether those two things are related or not, I'm not sure.

But to answer your question, the loaner has 150 miles on it and my car has about 18k.
