Magnetic windshield (onto 3rd replacement windshield)

Bad luck today for big bird. Its wingspan measured close to 30” based on the imprint it left. The last thing it saw was me ducking and yelling “holy shit!”

On to my 3rd windshield…

wow, that's some serious bad luck and on top of that 3rd windshield.. sorry man. Hope the bird was okay..and your nerves too! Did this happen at 101? Good luck with the replacement.

At 80mph, I some how think not. Indeed it was on 101 but I guess birds fly everywhere. I was expecting a rock would do in this windshield like it did the previous ones. Man, it was crazy seeing such a big object coming straight at my head. The glass is only cracked on the outer layer of the double laminate.

For a second there looking at your pictures before I read the post, I though you might have been one of the cars shot at earlier this week on I5 in Seattle, and that somehow you though a magnetic windshield made it bullet-proof. Context switching glitch, I was just reading about the highway shootings (suspect now in custody).

It’s the gt sports wheel. I think the focus and lighting is making it look more unique than it is.

Whoa! That part of 101 is usually wide open--good thing you weren't going faster.
