Ovo has no integration with the 2nd EV which arrives on Mon.
Followed Ovo's instructions to integrate their app with the Hypervolt app, but the scheduling failed each of the 3 nights I tried it.
I'm out of contract with Ovo, so signed with Octopus yesterday and will be live with them on Fri or Sat.
With Octo, each car can set a timer to charge during their cheap night period. A much simpler solution. [I hope].
I use the PMCC but all Porsche programming disabled which would conflict.

Ovo Charge Anytime figures out when to charge within your charging window and is a doddle to use - set SOC and when you want to use the car, that's it.

Ovo talks to the PCM and not the EVSE.

Using the Ovo (when it was connected to the car rather than Hypervolt) app, I found that when charging to 75% it always stopped at the right amount +/- 1 or 2%.
However, if I didn't use the car the next day but left it plugged in, it would then charge to 100% the following night. Not ideal for battery longevity - software bug / poor coding.
I'll test what happens with Octopus next week.

Yep, on the whole, that approach works well for me too.
But Ovo has no integration with the 2nd EV, so I needed a different - and most importantly stable - solution.

On IOG you won’t get a new smart schedule until you unplug/re-plug your car in so no worry about the car ‘over charging’ the next day

That's why I don't leave connected. You could simply disable the session from the app by removing your car temporarily. If away.

OVO Charge Anytime is ok apart from the 1% or 2% overcharge per day after the day that the requested SoC is reached. I don’t use my Taycan everyday, so it can end up well over the requested SoC.

I‘m currently enrolled in the Power Move Flex trial, and that has made overcharging much worse. Repeatedly, it follows a pattern. On the first day, it reaches the requested SoC. On the 2nd day of being unused but plugged in, it gets an extra % or so above the requested SoC. However, on the 3rd day of being plugged in, it seems to get around 6% to 8% over the requested SoC. On the other hand, I have had quite a bit of rebate for leaving the car plugged in all the time its not in use.
I'm on this too busy haven't bothered - I've literally only plugged my car in twice during November to charge to 80% and then unplug. They've still given me £8 for last month plus £5 for doing a survey. Easy money!

Despite other experiences, I had the same issue on Octopus IG.
If it charged to set level (85%) on night 1.....give or take a %.
Then if left plugged in, it would charge to 100% the following night.
Same was reported by some others on here.

Just over a week now on Octopus and it seems to be easy / more stable than Ovo.

I set a schedule in the Octo app (so a charge % and ready by time), and also set a timer with a max charge value in the Porsche app and also the new EV.
So far, been reliable and charges to the required amount by the required time on their cheaper 7p tariff.
And it worked perfectly for a friend’s Tesla this weekend too.
Glad I switched.
