My Porsche app is missing functions

Hi,

A different take on the “cannot connect remotely to the car” that many people here, including myself, have experienced: the app is connecting, but most functions are missing. E.g. charging, lock status, etc. I cannot enter the charging and profiles parts of the app, they are simply not displayed. Curiously, the car is currently charging and the km distance is updating in the app, but no display of battery level, etc.

Did anyone experience this?

Check to see if you have an LTE connection…I lost mine last Sunday night, it came back to life late yesterday without dealer assistance. If you see the two horizontal lines with a diagonal slash (photo below) under the time/temp=No bueno.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, I do have connection, both from the app and from the car. The km distance is updating in the app as the car is currently charging…

Charging is complete, although I did not get a push notification. The km has updated in the app, but most features are missing as before. On the second screen it says that the battery cannot be measured.

It is not connectivity, but I suspect a data corruption on Porsche’s server. I sent them an email, let’s see how it looks tomorrow.

My guess-o-meter for miles is a little off but this is what it looks like now.

The app is working again. Took one of the boys to ice hockey training in the morning and after the short drive the app showed all functions. Must have been a synchronization issue between vehicle - server - app affecting only some functions, but not all.

There was definitely seething going on with Porsche or 3rd party providers in last couple of days here in Houston TX but this AM everything back to normal after loosing online service content (Apple Music, Podcasts, Spotify, Online Radio, Weather) for almost 3 days.

This is really strange…
I’m having similar issues as well. But the only thing is that I am missing the “Charging Function” completely, no access to timers, and no info regarding the battery at all.

This was all fine yesterday, but the issues with no timer controls via the app has been like this for at least a month.
