My Porsche App Never Works

I’ve had the car just over a week and my Porsche app still doesn’t work. I just get this -

is a week long enough to wait ?

New or used? Mine took about two weeks to get the vehicle added to my Porsche ID, but that was for a used purchase.

Did you get it from a Porsche dealer? Mine did a lot of typing on a computer and it was working by the time I drove off, if I remember correctly. It was used, from an OPC. The Charging Service Card arrived a few days later.

Contact your dealer or Porsche support. It seems like your order for connect services has gotten stuck in limbo somehow so the only fix is probably to cancel your order and redo it.

Something similar happen to me when I tried to order the wifi hotspot subscription.

I had this, it can take a couple of weeks as someone else said, BUT I also had an issue when it was partly working for months.
Stay on top of them if it's not working by next week.

Our if they're local, pop in, grab a coffee and ask how it's going

the Sal es person should have done all that before handing you the fobs! Go back and have them do it. It’s not your problem.

I would but it’s over 2 hours away. I now get this. It states last updated 29th December. Porsche are looking into it but not holding my breath

What a pain.
Have you tried deleting the app and the profile in the car's PCM, and then adding again?

Got my car a week ago, used from Porsche. They set everything up whilst I was there and made sure the app connected as part of the handover.
The handover process was painless.
Charge cards are printed and mailed separately - still waiting for mine but the dealer confirmed my connect number when I collected the car. I'll expect the car in a week or so. V5 already arrived.
