Saturday afternoon, 27F air temp, battery temp in the 90s F, plugged in at 12% and immediately hit 241kW then maxed out at just shy of 260.

By the time I took these pictures and ran into the adjacent hotel to use the bathroom, I was already way past what I needed for kWh.

I know that some Taycan owners in other regions take this for granted, but I have never experienced this previously.
(Closest I came was somewhere around 200kW at the NY govt station.)

That's awesome!

When a DCFC stop with a car and station that can do high KW charging goes well, it's pretty amazing...

Well, the honeymoon is over now: hit a mere 252kW Thursday night.
Perhaps bc of 17F air temps?
Seriously though, this totally transforms the drive up there with my Taycan. Before it was keep the cabin cold, the speed below what is legally permissible, choose the route with the shortest distance and slowest speeds (while keeping total drive time the same), and plan to get something down while charging.
All that is gone now. And the charging time is so fast that I didn’t even have time to run to the adjacent hotel to use the, ah, official restroom. (But I was discreet, and covered up the spot with fresh snow.)

"If you get decent fast charging sites in VT and NH, you'll have nothing left to post about in the forum...."
Thus wrote a fellow forum member to me, hah!
Well, I stopped there again Sunday night -- so much fun. See, I can write about how non-Tesla DCFC actually works well in northern New England, right?
I suppose I should be grateful to EA, ChargePoint, my brother-in-law's NEVI station, and other purveyors of horrible CCS1 experience I've suffered through since May 2023. Now hitting the mid 200s -- immediately, upon placing my phone up to the card reader via Apple Wallet -- makes me so happy just for the novelty aspect of it!
