Wish we had more of these. The hub features four high-powered rapid and ultra-rapid chargers including a 200kw charge point. Really busy today ! Only opened a few days ago not on many of the apps yet or Porsche charging planner.

Totally correct … it’s been arguably an abuse of position by ESB although they hide behind the “we’ve only recently owned the network” but it’s not helped by an awkward process of planning and connection to the grid and the biggest joke is “free public charging” which is exploited by many taxi drivers and what I’d call “recreational EV charging drivers” … anyway free public charging will at last change early 2023 and the higher tariff for rapid charging (100kw+) compatible with Taycan 800v DC appetite should see our more discerning requirement be more available (that’s the theory ??)

They got rid of that down here a few years ago (I think 2019) and if definitely made a po. sitive impact. Before that, there was some serious hogging going on.

Porsche is also inaccessible at the weekends when showroom is closed (utter nonsense).
