Hi - I have a connect account for our other Porsche and in theory I can add a vehicle to that (the Taycan) and access both.... however the Connect issues described on here suggest that might further complicate an already somewhat difficult experience. Any thoughts?

If your Cayenne is old enough (if the app you use is Porsche Car Connect) then I suggest keeping them on separate accounts - since the app and service are different anyway. I tried briefly combining ours (2017 Cayenne) and had problems but I believe the problems were caused by numerous other Taycan software ecosystem readiness issues, not simply by the act of adding in a second vehicle.

It's a new cayenne but probably going to keep it separate for the same reasons you point out.

Not sure you can unless you use another email address for your Taycan. Any been able to keep them separate?

Theoretically the Porsche Connect account allows you to add multiple vehicles under one ID, but feeling that might be a challenge given the Taycan complexities. Harder to rule interference (I think) if two or more vehicles under one ID.

My Porsche Connect account has both my 911 C4S and Taycan Turbo S. No problems so far with them together on the app. They are both 2020 models.

I have a 2018 991.2 and my new Taycan on the same accounts. Absolutely no problems online and within the app as you can switch between the car profiles very easily. Neither are conflicting with one another.

I don’t subscribe to any online features for my 911 so the app doesn’t do a lot for the 911.
it was just a lot less hassle integrating as address, payment profiles, etc were already in there.

Enjoy the collection today.

I also have 992 and Taycan on one Porsche account and on the secondary ones. However, adding a second Porsche account in the car is a mess for me. Settings get screwed up all the time (seat position, head up display, etc).
