New GTS owner

Look forward to learning all about the new Taycan here...and to be honest I am a little scarred and not sure I am making the right decision.

I currently own a 2020 Macan Turbo and love it...but trying to find 93 gas is getting harder and harder. And my last fill up cost just shy of $100

So off to the dealership and they had 2 new base Taycan rear wheel drive. And a used sales person S with 6k miles. That is what I did my test drive
and it rocks...no doubt. I am not big on buying a used car...sales person told be they have no allocations and Porsche is not accepting any new
builds this year. He then told me he has a GTS on order coming in late June early July that was yet to be claimed. He showed me the build and
has a lot of the extras and MSRP is $161K

Oh. And the GTS sounds awesome. I haven’t seen the painted mission e in Neptune blue, but the pictures I have seen were great. Neptune blue is what I got on my car that is going to be delivered in a couple week hopefully.

I put down a deposit and because it is not my build if I do not like the car when it arrives or not happy with the trade in value for my Macan I can get my money back.

Perfect colour and spec for the GTS.
Unless of course you are having a midlife crisis and think that the sputum coloured Hockenheim special looks better than that!

Lovely, I have ordered the same color except those 21” RS wheels. The photo shows faintly, but is that Bordeaux red & black two toned interior? If yes then we have the same selection!

I had a Macan a few years ago and I liked it a lot. The biggest thing that the Macan offered was the SUV benefits of being fairly rugged/ extra ride height while driving like a car in terms of handling. The change for you will be going to something that rides really low and being a bit more delicate when it comes to road and weather conditions. If its your only vehicle, its something to think about. It’s not a question of whether the GTS sedan is a nice vehicle. It certainly is. The question is whether its the right vehicle for you and where you live. I went from the Macan to a Panamera Sport Turismo. Both are great vehicles but I have to take great care with the Panamera where I live, otherwise the road and weather conditions could easily destroy it. My next vehicle is a Cross Tursimo which will give me a blend of my previous Porsche vehicles. Best of luck in your decision. The good news is that all of the vehicles are great. Finding the one that fits your needs is a little more tricky.
