It seems we're in about the same position as many here. TYD showed the car produced 2/10 or so (I forget), and at Port of Emden 2/17. The overview on Porsche.com shows the car waiting for production, but appears to have not been updated since 2/09.

Now the TYD link is completely missing from the Porsche website. IDK what happened to it. I've cleared the cache, and even sunk to trying with Microsoft Edge, but there's still no TYD button.

We've been waiting since test driving a used Turbo in April of last year. There's no imminent need to get the car, but it would be nice to have a solid timetable, because I hate to take cash out of treasury bills earning 4.5% sooner than necessary.

Totally agree. I joke that I usually take the position, "If it's going to happen to someone, it'll happen to me" so I try to do as much anticipation of problems and attempt to mitigate them as possible. I'd just rather trust that Porsche will do their part as well in correcting issues, like the heater stuff, before they happen to new owners in the future.

Annnnddd.... look what I woke up to this morning! Weeehooo!!

My Production Start Date remained 2/17 as of TYD last night on the old version. As of this morning (yes, I check multiple times each day... :CWL: ), TYD is no longer available.

I can only hope this means the car is in production and when the TYD button/link returns... I'll be on the updated site with production pictures of my first Porsche and EV!

Those were my dates before the new site kicked in and it all got MUCH better. My dates even moved a bit since the pics showed up today, but that's fine. It's appears to be responding to real-time progress. I'm guessing if it's down for you you'll get the update soon!

Thanks all. For some reason my original e-mail with TYD link directs to a “server not available”, so maybe it’s been deactivated for me in advance of getting access to the updated site.

This will be our first Porsche as well. It’s been an “interesting” process.

Annie congrats on the production photo! You’re going to turn some heads in SE Michigan!

Another nice feature of the TYD is it allows for email updates so no need to check multiple times per day... just 2 or 3, now. ? I was notified today of the new milestone being reached which is nice to get.

I most definitely agree with this sentiment, and in that line of thinking, I am expecting my car in about 1 month, and have downloaded the EA app and set it up, but how do I activate the Porsche-EA subscription? I have the Porsche App, my current Porsche(non electric) and the new Taycan in transit show up in it, but do not immediately see where to activate this subscription without having the car.
Once I got my VIN number (I got it from the HTML inspection, but it showed up on the page a few days later), MyPorsche let me add the car to my account ("+ Add vehicle" button near top right, on My Porsche Overview page on a PC web browser). I waited once my car was on the boat before activating the 3 free subscriptions, also trying to activate the prior month (in case Porsche/EA does any monthly propagation/synchronization of account databases).

Here are the 3 services I activated early (when selecting Porsche Charging Service you will have to select automatic renew but it's some other mechanism than regular auto-renew so it shows only 12 months in the cart):

Thanks so much for that, I wouldn’t have thought to add the car with the VIN! My status with the car is just arrived at the port, so will wait until it leaves and will give this a go!

When I tried doing this it asked for proof of ownership by providing things I didn't have. Don't remember what but it was like a sales receipt or something.

When I did it, it didn't ask me for anything. Is the allocation linked to your account?

Do we know if the location shown on TYD is roughly accurate or is it just a graphic representation of the milestone? I ask because I was notified that #6 was completed today but I didn't make note of the location shown on the map but when I just looked again, it shows the car at the port, already, and TYD slots a week to get from #6-#7.

I'm also only getting 4 pics instead of the 5 that others have been given. I'm not worried about that but just curious what happened to the 5th pic.

This morning mine jumped from #4 to #6 too, and the map shows it close to, if not at, the port. Yeah, arrival still says 2/27, but considering it was due to finish production 2/25 and that has apparently already been completed, I'm giving them some leeway in site updates. My delivery has also been pushed up a bit too.

I don't have the 5th picture either, but whatever. I'd rather have the car :D. I guess you guys in the southern US will be on a different ship, but mine is going to Baltimore. Be cool if some of us end up together! I better start shopping for the charging stuff... Still don't want to jinx it though!!
