Both advertised as Taycan PCM:This is interesting. As per parts catalog, they seem to have just one variant. Are you sure one of those PCMs not from audi or other similar VAG car?
Looking at the wiring diagram for the center console that I found (see below), it looks like one of the LVDC (connector B) goes to the PCM, and the other (missing here, connector C) goes to the rear seat entertainment tablet. Connector A (the non Fakra one) is just power and CAN bus.I checked wiring diagram and seem like passenger screen connects to climate control screen(central), not to PCM directly. So central console screen needs also to be replaced because there are 2 different options, and only one has 2 connectors(one in, one out to passenger screen)
Here's on photo one 2nd connector is physically missing, making it unable to connect passenger screen

Yeah, this is wrong diagram. For climate screen there are 2 parts for option code JH1(which is passenger screen code) an JH0 which is without passenger screen codeLooking at the wiring diagram for the center console that I found (see below), it looks like one of the LVDC (connector B) goes to the PCM, and the other (missing here, connector C) goes to the rear seat entertainment tablet. Of course maybe I am looking at the wrong diagram, so pasting what I was looking at below.

Yes, it will. You also need wiring, but besides - it should be totally doableSo.. if you replace the AC screen unit to a passenger ready one and add passenger screen, it may work assuming you have the programming equipment?
You could try to just populate the Fakra connector on the back of the center screen. Hopefully that is the only part that is missing, and no IC's inside.Yeah, this is wrong diagram. Either way it seem to be more expensive to retrofit that I originally thought. Apart from wiring, which is simple, you also need central screen too, which adds extra $500-600 to the total price, making it close to $1500 in just screen parts
I thought of that, but my soldering skills arent that goodYou could try to just populate the Fakra connector on the back of the center screen. Hopefully that is the only part that is missing, and no IC's inside.
Hey, I'd buy your double screen if you upgrade itI think, I will remove my passenger screen, buy a main screen only and instal an android passenger screen
I will have navigation and car play with Waze on main screen and tv, Netflix on passenger screen
I was hoping for just the passenger display and not to replace the main display too... Basically just adding a separate android display that has no interconnectivity to the main vehicle regarding changing settings etc. Basically an android display that would turn on when the car does and turn off when the car does. That's right, it's easy to install — takes about 30 minutes. The overall performance is very fast, even faster than the PCM
With SIM card support, there's no need to use a mobile hotspot.

Only the passenger display is replaced, I mean the operation speed is faster than the original screenI was hoping for just the passenger display and not to replace the main display too...
