Newbie GTS on order

We are on same exact timelines, I’m in the US. Do delivery dates seem to be running on time in UK there? I also have a GTS coming …

Not even close in UK - 18 month+ for GTS - saloon or ST….. you guys other side of the pond are very lucky it seems….. and Porsche must be prioritising US orders over UK……

In France most dealers have allocations spare for March and June 2023. I was offered a Dec allocation but the spec was locked and too far off my spec otherwise I would have grabbed it.

Had a play on the configurator and the red seat belt on the 4+1 seat can be done.

You have to drop the GTS interior pack (don’t really want to ?)and go back to standard Race Tex and then option Boudreaux Red Belts

Seems kind of dumb that you can’t have all matching seat belts with the GTS interior pack at £2900, but if you drop that you can pay £345 you can get them all the same colour.

I’m kind of thinking now, to ask if I can just buy the red belt on its own and pay to have it fitted……

Any ideas ?

There is a few oddities with the 4+1 spec and it definitely annoys me. For instance, with the standard interior, if you choose the 18 way seats, you end up with a pattern mismatch between the front and the rear seats. This was confirmed for the MY23 by my dealer in France.

Maybe the designers think the one different seatbelt colour is 'racey' in an offset stitching kinda way?? I placed an order for GTS saloon in September and have also been quoted circa 18 months for delivery (Australia). We're used to waiting for cars down under though...

I have a GTS ST on order with the Carmine GTS interior package, and I prefer the middle seat belt in black rather than red. It makes the interior look more balanced, as it's only an emergency seat really.

I’ve been looking on the Porsche used cars and all I’ve seen so far is 4 belts either Carmine or Crayon with the GTS interior ?

Only seems to be standard grey if you take either of the GTS interior packages which is a bit bizarre.

Personally I would skip the 4+1 (limited use case), racetex (and have for my GTS ST) and wouldn't go red either (too bright). I can only think the standard colour blends better with the middle seat for aesthetic reasons or indeed the interior folk were napping and over looked this.

If they make the centre belt in the colour you want then I can't imagine it would be difficult to replace. In terms of cost, think of a number and then double it for labour charges!

Take a good look at the rear seat stitching pattern. These are from the US configurator. The left is with the 4+1, the right is without.

No, not specific with the GTS or the RaceTec interior for that matter. With 18 way and the 4+1, the rear seat pattern matches the 14 way, not the 18 way.

Look at the rear seats - centre back cushion - pattern of seat panels is different to the front ones.

The picture is for the GTS interior and not the standard Racetex & Leather interior.

Go to the configurator and switch the interiors from std to GTS to full extended leather and you'll see what changes.

I see it now. Odd but nothing you can do if you order the standard Racetec. If you try changeing the front seats to 14 way it insists you have leather and deletes Racetec.
