UK Porsche web site Vehicle recall checker reveals this for my Nov'20 4S

Plug your VIN. In here:

https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/PORSCHE/TAYCAN%25204S/4%2520DR/AWD

you will see whether NHTSA lists your specific vehicle as subject to recall. My 4S, as of the present, has no listed “unrepaired recalls.” There is an app, SaferCar, that will also notify you of recalls specfic to your vehicle. As the bugs get worked out, it might be a good idea to set it up.

Yup. That’s true even if you put in the VIN numbers specifically in that NHTSA 21V-486 document. Porsche does not appear to have yet rolled out the recall. And most folks who have asked their dealers have been told it doesn’t (yet) apply to their cars.

I went to the NTSA site and it now appears as a recall.. Called the dealer and they said no recalls, called Porsche Customer Service and they initially said no recall but then said there is a recall. But when I checked my VIN now it says No recall. So not sure whats happening....And when I asked Porsche if the car is safe to drive they basically said no comment.

Anyone have any clarity with your dealers?

So my VIN is literally 45640, (start 40064-45643) which is the 4th to last Taycan 4S produced with the Bug , since mine was made on June 25th. Just got my VIN from the dealer. Was almost out of the woods.

Is the stop sale still in effect for new deliveries? i.e. they have to be patched before they can be sold?
