This morning whilst loading some things in the boot it decided to auto close on me - with an associated beep beep warning. The car doesn't have the factory Comfort Access and I've never found any way to remote close the boot (other than the PCM functions).

On further investigation the boot close function on the central screen or the button on the lower screen no longer closes the boot, opens it ok but not close.

It was in the dealer this week for the brake hose recall and they also did WPK0 update. It can still be unlocked by touching the door handles...

Anyone seen similar?

EDIT*

OK I read the manual ? the boot does close from the central screen button - but you need to hold it not just a single press.
And the boot can also be closed by using the leg sweep under the bumper - so that's what I must have done this morning... ?

What I find ridiculous though is that you can’t close it using the key fob. All my previous cars did it. I don’t know if this is a Porsche decision for all their cars or just for the Taycan. Anyway I find it annoying

Did you try the foot gesture? No button click needed. Just make a kick gesture at the back of your car, your foot should “kick” just under the car

Well I am not always behind the car. A common scenario: we are walking away from the car, my kid forgets something in the trunk, I open it remotely but can’t close it afterwards. It is not a big deal I need to walk 10 meters and close it but it is annoying.

All models.

Walk away locking now features on Macan EV if you have Comfort Access.. So perhaps the memo has been delivered and read and things are changing.
