Any views on the merits of this from those that have CT's? Quite expensive for some flaps?

A step too far for me.
I am pleased by the extra 20mm ride height without it and the compass and height display available with Sport chrono but the only off-roading I’ll do is relative’s farm tracks and I wouldn’t be very popular if I tore them up - very expensive to repair!
I don‘t like the look of the plastic wheel arch protectors and paying to add more doesn’t make sense for me.

We’ve got the OR pack on our CT4s.

Personally I love it along with the plastic arches - on lighter cars thinking the contrast works with the lighter colours especially and the ORP breaks up the slab side nature on the ST. But again that’s personal preference and understand the reverse perspective entirely.

where I have noticed a real world benefit already is that the sections around the lower wheel arches , whilst a magnet to trap grit are already being roughened up by grit impact.

certainly made me think that without them the arches would be taking a hammering and that just driving around on normal uk roads with no off road etc.

already picked up a few stone chips on the front so very glad of the protection

other than that no other practical benefit that I’ve seen

There is already too much plastic on display which this simply compounds.

There is more to the ORDP than simply plastic however.

I'd never have ordered this expensive plastic if I knew that's just - expensive plastic.
I've been mislead that it brings additional 20mm height, that's why I selected it.

Huh?

If brings +10mm (to give +30mm overall)

Package consists of:
- Offroad Design Flaps integrated into lower valance, sideskirts and rear diffusor
- Increased ground clearance (+10 mm in chassis level 'medium')

@W1NGE : no, there's no additional 10mm.
I learned that in this forum just a week or two after my freeze day.
Someone published a table with heights difference between all Taycans.

When I got my car, I even noticed that ground clearance is about 10mm lower, because the mount of this plastic on a chasis.

Could be but technically you get additional height on medium settings - so not short changed.

You can default to high settings with ORD, default is medium w/o. If that makes a difference to anybody.

I like it. Yes, expensive plastic, but it gives a little exclusivity and looks off-roady, but I'm sure I'm not taking it to the rubicon trail.

One thing I was disappointed is the individual settings cannot be set to 'high'. seems like PCM is not ware of the ORD in custom settings. Hopefully a future update will fix that.

I really like the offroad design pack with my configuration. The black trim in combination with the black wheels and other black pieces against the white paint really looks nice. Plus it provides some protection from small rocks, etc.

I’m a fan of it myself. I actually do take my CT off road. I’m a kayaker and some of my favorite spots would be inaccessible without the extra ground clearance. The remapped torque distribution has kept me going twice now in low traction spots.

This is correct and discussed ad nauseum elsewhere - no diff to std CT.

Personally seriously dislike the look of the ORDP plastic add ons but weirdly I do now like the fender flares when painted as I and others have done I.e. they seem to break up the continuity of the large rear end on the wagon which really works for me - that and they also retain the CT ‘signature’ or styling vs trying to be a ST!

Again: there is no additional clearance with off-road package.
