I have the glass roof in Arizona. No heat or sun issues. Then again, I have the acoustic and IR glass. Maybe that’s why it doesn’t bother me. Love the glass roof.

Do you notice any reduced cell signal in your Taycan since you have the IR glass?
Other vehicles I’ve had with IR glass required me to add an antenna outside the rear glass with an inside antenna to improve the signal strength. In California when I drive to Las Vegas I would lose signal in the high desert as wells as in the mountain passes on i15 to Utah where cell signal gets bad. The IR glass just made it worse.
Not sure if Porsche accounted the reduced signal for the IR glass.
It would be interesting to see how your IR glass option impacts your cell signal.

I have zero issues with cell , Wi-Fi or CarPlay signals anywhere I go in remote desert locations in Arizona.

Good to know. The signals get blocked by IR glass but even more when there is a lot of metal like in a van or large SUV.
It may be that there is so much glass area with the Taycan glass roof that signal loss is negligible.
It would be interesting if anyone with metal roofs see a loss of signal like I have with steel roof vehicles and IR glass films all around to keep the interior cooler in direct sunlight.

Purchased my car pre-owned, so I had to compromise and wait for the best option combination. I ended up with a $178k MSRP GTS.

I really need the Automated Rear Parking option. Nice to have are:

- 21 inch RS Spyder wheels in GTS finish
- European option code NG1 rear carrier
- passenger display
- Base Racetex or GTS interior package
