Model: 2022 4S Cross Turismo located in US East Coast
Background: The car showed the yellow circle of warning back in April. A dealer replaced HV heater + OBC 2 weeks ago. OBC was downgraded from 22kw to 11kw.
The Taycan has been drawing too much current from multiple AC EVSEs, including PMCC, ChargePoint rated at 6.2kw and a Kia mobile charger, after I got it back from the dealer. It seems like the Taycan always disregards what the maximum current the EVSEs supply, and just attempted to draw the highest possible value the OBC can. It would charge at 8.2kw for a few second and triggered the fault protection in ChargePoint stations while PMCC and the Kia mobile charger simply not working.
Wondering if anyone experienced this issue before, and what's the fix.
BTW, DC charging has been working just fine, reaching 270kw a couple of days ago at an Electrify America station.
