Just had the letter but my update was done a month ago. Took overnight to complete it BTW.

2020 4S. Took dealer one day, dropped at 8am, ready at 5 pm. Haven’t had time to play with it yet.

Porsche Bellevue just pushed out my appointment as they said they are allocating 1 week per Taycan. I was scheduled for mid-August, and they pushed it to mid September and they texted this morning that they need to move it to mid-October. Hearing about it done in 4.5 hours is such a big discrepancy as to what my dealer is telling me.
There are general issues with that dealership, too.

Another data point. Dropped my car on Sept 1st and still waiting. Tomorrow is a holiday so not expecting to pick up until midweek at best. Guess I fall into the unlucky bunch waiting a week or more. This wouldn’t be so bad if there was a loaner available.

My 2021 has been at the dealer for 8 days now. Starting to wonder if they lost my car…

My car has been at Porsche Bellevue for over two weeks now for the PCM update. They have a bit of a backlog... Apparently the PCM update is very difficult to apply - it fails to apply properly a significant percentage of attempts. The good news is that I'm driving a nice Macan loaner, so I'm in good shape. (Compliments to Porsche Bellevue - they are treating me right.)

What I'm reading between the lines is that Porsche released the upgrade without a reliable way to apply it. Which puts dealers in a tough spot - in the middle between Porsche and their customers.

my car took a whole week to complete, but when I (unannounced) visited the delayed work on day 4, it seems you cannot blame Porsche:

They started 1-2 days after they received the car (checked with App), car was standing around somewhere in between, they did not put it in privacy mode, they did not provide strong 90A 12V power supply, they used WLAN VCI with PIWIS and not USB cable the mechanic assigned to that task was only checking progress every 1-2 hours and had more important tasks.
So they violated probably most of the tasks of the checklist in the WNJ8 technical information document from Porsche.
No wonder, many dealer suck with the update and manage to brick ECUs, whereas other dealers update 4 cars per day.

a bit surprised to see update of the BMS, but this may have been already up2date OTA.

the PDF mentions updates of "Connect" and also "OTA" ECU, I can only find "Telematics".

How do I find out what versions my modules have?

Thanks for the info. Let us know how it goes.
My software update ('22 Taycan 4 CT) took not quite 4 full days. They had a couple other issues they took care of in that time as well (alarm recall, damaged window replacement). Car went in on a Monday about 0930, was done by 330PM on Thursday. Zero issues, everything seems to be working well with software updates. And the alarm fix seems to have worked too.

which dealer was that? I've had a mixed experience with Bellevue over the past decade with my 911 and now the Taycan. On the other hand, I fear the other dealers around might not have enough experience dealing with Taycans yet.
